Patrick Toole Snr, was the father of Patrick Toole (1840-tbc) who was born in Renton and who is the great grandfather (X2) of Andrew Townsley Docherty who is described in this site.

Patrick Snr married Bridget Hill but we do not currently have marriage details.

Searches across statutory and parish records for the Renton area, reveals only a single Patrick Toole who was born at a date suitable to have been the father of Patrick Toole (1840-tbc) who we know was born in Renton. This elder Patrick Toole was born in 1816 and died aged 52 years on the 15th February 1868. He was buried in St Peter's Dalbeth Cemetery.
