daughter of Charles Tobias Baptiste (1851-1918) and Jemima Young Baptiste (1860-1945) was born
in 1895 in Renfrew. She was employed as a machine weaver when young.
Cecelia's forename had earlier been shared by her sister Susan Cecelia (1890-1891) who sadly was to die
as an infant due to bronchitis. Cecelia was one of at least 10 siblings described in this site.
Generally known as "Queenie" to friends and family, Cecelia was a well known and popular figure in Renfrew.
Never married, she lived a long and happy life, latterly in Renfrew with her brother Alexander's son Charlie.
