Janet Whiteford Kerr (1908-1992)

Janet Whiteford Kerr , daughter of James Kerr (1874-1922) and Mary McKelvie Kerr (1875-1940) was born in 1908 in Renfrew. The name Whiteford was derived from her grandmother on her mother's side, Margaret Whiteford McKelvie Davanna who it appears was married twice, firstly to Matthew McKelvie and subsequently to Patrick Davanna.

Janet who was a thread worker married Robert Craig who was a baker, on 20th September 1929 in Porterfield Road. Her sister Grace Kerr was the witness to the wedding. Janet died in 1992 in Johnstone.
