Enos Kerr (1897-1920)

Enos Kerr , son of James Kerr (1874-1922) and Mary McKelvie Kerr (1875-1940) was born in 1887 at 118 High Street Renfrew. As a young man, he was called up for service in the 1st World War. His papers are shown below.

Enos who after the war was employed as a carpenter was sadly to die young of pulmonary tuberculosis on 14th August 1920. It is believed that Enos caught the TB that was to cause his early death in the trenches during the war.
